The President of Kazakhstan transfers his residences in five cities to children
The residences of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in the cities of Kostanay, Aktau, Taraz, Aktobe and Atyrau are transferred to local akimats for the needs of children. The leadership of the regions will independently determine how to use the living space and what exactly will be opened in them. Such an order was given by the head of Kazakhstan, reports Tengrinews.kz.
For example, the residence in Taraz is supposed to open a wellness complex for children with disabilities or a children's camp that will work all year round.
In Aktau, the residence of the head of state is located on the shore of the Caspian Sea. "Guests are rare here. Over the years of their existence, presidents have come here only a few times. Who will be accepted here now is the main intrigue for the locals," the message says.
In Aktobe, the residence of the head of state is located on the bank of the Kargaly River and was previously used as a guest house where foreign delegations and high-ranking officials stayed during their visits to the region. The rest of the time the object was empty. A year-round camp for children, a rehabilitation center or a kindergarten can be opened on the basis of the presidential house.
Kostanay residence is located on an area of 1.9 hectares – four houses, two yurts, a fountain, an octagonal wooden gazebo on the water and a 5-meter pier. The city administration decides exactly how these buildings will be used.
In Atyrau region, a recreation and wellness center for children is going to be opened in the building of the presidential residence. As soon as the appointment is determined, the city authorities will begin organizational work on re-equipment.
