The Turkmen Ambassador discussed the development of humanitarian partnership with the Coordinator General of COMSTECH


The possibility of expanding cooperation between Turkmenistan and Pakistan in the fields of science, education and culture was discussed by Turkmen Ambassador Atajan Movlamov and Muhammad Choudary, Coordinator General of the Ministerial Standing Committee on Scientific and Technical Cooperation of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (COMSTECH). The meeting took place at the COMSTECH Secretariat, according to a message published on the website of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry.
The COMSTECH Secretariat is the youngest member of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation for researchers, engineers, specialists and scientists who are ready to contribute to the scientific and technological progress of the OIC member states.
The parties agreed to develop scientific and educational relations between the higher educational institutions of Turkmenistan and Pakistan, as well as to hold regular joint events in this area.
During the meeting, the Turkmen diplomat spoke about the new city of Arkadag, the modern administrative center of the Akhal region, built according to the concept of "smart city". The Pakistani side, after listening to the report, highly appreciated the Turkmen town-planning project.
