Turkmen karate players will go to the youth tournament in the UAE
Turkmen karate players will take part in the first stage of the Karate1 2023 Youth League, which will be held from February 23 to 26 in Fujairah (UAE).
The team of the Turkmen national team was formed by 20 karate players who will perform at this stage of the season under the leadership of Bayram Yalkapov. In addition to them, the delegation included six judges.
The Karate1 Youth League is a series of competitions held under the auspices of the International Karate Federation.
Over 1100 athletes from 67 countries will take part in the competition.
The next stages of the league will continue in La Coruna (Spain, April 27-30), Parenzo (Croatia, June 29 - July 3), Mexico City (Mexico, September 21-24) and Venice (Italy, December 7-10).
The leader of the team medal standings last season was the Egyptian national team. The second place was taken by the team from Italy. The representatives of Croatia and Germany closed the top three.
