Media: new earthquakes in Turkey have led to destruction


An earthquake of magnitude 6.3 was recorded on Monday in the territory of Antakya. This was reported by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center. As noted in the Department of Emergency Situations, two strong earthquakes occurred in the south-east of the republic on Monday evening with a difference of 17 minutes. The first with a magnitude of 6.4 occurred in the Defne district of Hatay province, the second with a magnitude of 5.8 occurred in the Samandag district in the same province.
As the Habertürk TV channel notes, there is destruction in Defn. Tremors were also felt in Syria, Lebanon, Cyprus and Israel.
