Pakistan establishes ties with Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Central Asia

In Pakistan, a regional communication service was established in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Rawalpindi (a city and district of Punjab Province) in cooperation with the Asian Institute for Research and Development of Ecocivilizations. The opening ceremony of the new structure was attended by Ambassador of Turkmenistan and Doyen of the diplomatic corps in Pakistan Atajan Movlamov, Ambassador of Azerbaijan Khazar Farhadov, Ambassador of Kazakhstan Yerzhan Kistafin, Ambassador of Tajikistan Ismatullo Nasredin, Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan Ulanbek Totuyaev and Ambassador of Uzbekistan Oybek Usmanov, the leadership of the Chamber of Rawalpindi.

In their speeches, the diplomats spoke about the trade and investment opportunities of the five Central Asian countries and Azerbaijan. The promotion of trade opportunities in various sectors, including tourism, visits to places of worship, energy and pharmaceuticals, was also discussed.

The need to simplify payment channels and visa issuance procedures, as well as the establishment of direct flights was emphasized.
