The head of Kyrgyzstan discussed with the former leaders of the country the consolidation of society

Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov met with former heads of state to consolidate society, presidential spokesperson Erbol Sultanbayev said on Monday.
Japarov wrote on Friday that he had met with former Kyrgyz presidents Askar Akayev, Kurmanbek Bakiyev, Roza Otunbayeva, Almazbek Atambayev and Sooronbay Jeenbekov "on neutral territory." Subsequently, it turned out that the politicians met in Dubai.
"President Japarov in his address clearly indicated that he has no personal interests, obligations or hostility towards any of the previous presidents. His main goal is true national consolidation, unification for the benefit of the development of the Kyrgyz state," Sultanbaev wrote on his page in social network.
"In this regard, I would like to call on all parties to direct their strength and energy not to a public showdown of relations, but to creation for the good of our country," the spokesperson said.
He stressed that the president "wants to break the vicious practice that has been going on since the days of Iskhak Razzakov (first secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Kyrgyzstan - ed.), when all subsequent leaders of the country attributed everything bad to their predecessors."
"This was the main purpose of the meeting of the presidents, and it has no other subtexts," Sultanbayev summed up.
