IUHD and Japanese university discussed expansion of cooperation in the field of student exchange

The expansion of cooperation between the International University for the Humanities and Development in Turkmenistan and the Tokyo University of Foreign Studies in Japan through student exchanges and scientific developments will bring the Turkmen-Japanese dialogue to a new level.
This conclusion was reached by the IUHD Rector and TUFS President Kayoko Hayashi during a round table organized by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Japan. The event was also attended by the teaching staff of the capital's Japanese university, the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper reports.
The head of the Tokyo University supported the vision of her Turkmen colleague on student exchanges and the organization of various educational programs and courses.
During the working visit, the Rector of the Turkmen International University also discussed with the Director of the Higher Education Group of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) the application of educational, digital and innovative projects in the city of Arkadag — the new administrative center of the Ahal region.
As for the issues of cooperation between universities of the two countries, the need to expand training programs and exchange experience on the JICA platform was emphasized.
Since the 2017-2018 academic year, some IUHD students have been studying in Japan on an exchange.
