The roadmap of Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation on healthcare will be ready in 2 weeks — Protsenko


Denis Protsenko, MD, Hero of Labor of Russia, chief anesthesiologist-resuscitator of Moscow and a native of Ashgabat, said that the roadmap for the development of cooperation between Turkmenistan and Russia in the field of healthcare will be ready in two weeks.
"We will be very glad to see Turkmen colleagues in our clinics to exchange not only theoretical experience, but also practical skills," Protsenko said in an interview with the "Neutral Turkmenistan" newspaper following a working visit of leading Russian doctors to Ashgabat.
According to the chief anesthesiologist-resuscitator of Moscow, during the meeting with Turkmen colleagues, humanitarian relations and communication with Turkmen doctors, plans for interaction with clinics and further professional rapprochement were discussed.
During the visit, Russian specialists highly appreciated the health care system of Turkmenistan, having previously visited the Turkmen Medical University, Scientific and Clinical Centers of Oncology and Maternal and Child Health, the International Center of Surgery.
Touching upon the issue of personnel training, Protsenko said that the new Russian-Turkmen University "should have and will have a medical faculty."
The "medical delegation" included Deputy Minister of the Russian Ministry of Health Tatyana Semenova, Director of the N.N. Blokhin National Oncology Center Ivan Stilidi, Director of the Moscow Clinical Scientific and Practical Center named after A.S. Loginov Igor Khatkov and chief freelance specialist of anesthesiology and resuscitation of "Kommunarka" Denis Protsenko.
