More than 70 doctors will be admitted to clinical residency in Turkmenistan this year


More than 70 doctors under the age of 35 and with at least 3 years of work experience will be admitted to clinical residency in Turkmenistan in 2023, according to announcements published in the official press about the admission procedure.
The training will be conducted at the M.Garryev State Medical University of Turkmenistan, the Scientific and Clinical Center for Maternal and Child Health, the Scientific and Clinical Center of Oncology and the Hospital with the Scientific and Clinical Center of Cardiology.
Most of the places are open at the medical university, where doctors will be able to get into clinical residency in such specialties as endocrinology, psychiatry, infectious diseases, epidemiology and many others.
Applications will be accepted from April 1 to April 30, 2023.
Graduates of a higher medical educational institution recommended by the commission on the personal distribution of graduates will also be able to get into a clinical residency along with experienced doctors.
Admission of doctors to clinical residency is an important step in the process of creating a strong healthcare infrastructure and providing citizens of Turkmenistan with high-quality medical services.
