Turkmenistan and the UN discussed financing of joint projects
The Minister of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan Serdar Jorayev discussed on Thursday with the UN Permanent Coordinator in Turkmenistan Dmitry Shlapachenko financing of joint projects.
The parties paid special attention to the issues of financial support for the Sustainable Development Goals in Turkmenistan and the provision of relevant information for the preparation of the Second Voluntary National Survey of the country.
In this regard, the importance of establishing electronic data collection and informing about relevant economic information for the early implementation of the SDGs was emphasized.
Other promising areas of cooperation were also considered, which are provided for by the Framework Program of Cooperation in the Field of Sustainable Development between the Government of Turkmenistan and the United Nations for 2021-2025.
