A new diorama named "Hunter" dedicated to the ancient tradition of hunting, which has deep roots, has opened in the State Museum of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan in the exposition of the ethnographic department, the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper reports.
The diorama features a mannequin of a male hunter, whose clothes and equipment were characteristic of a resident of the Ahal oasis. The man is holding a hurla rifle and a masking shield — a fart. The hunter has a one-shot gunpowder measure, a leather purse for small items and an oil can in his belt.
To the right of the man is a small hut in which hunters usually wait for prey.
