Esteemed President Serdar Berdimuhamedow chaired the working meeting by means of digital video conferencing with the participation of the velayats khyakims
On February 20th, the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting by means of digital video conferencing with the participation of the Cabinet Deputy Chairman in charge of the agro-industrial complex and khyakims of the velayats.
The Esteemed President opened the working meeting held through the digital network, and first of all, gave the floor to the Khyakim of Ahal Velayat Gurbanov. The khyakim reported on the implementation of seasonal agricultural activities in the velayat, as well as on the implementation of the tasks arising from the National Program of the President of Turkmenistan on reforming the living conditions of the population of villages, towns, cities in etraps and etrap centers for the period up to 2028.
Then the Khyakim of Balkan Velayat Atahalliev reported on the progress of the work being carried out in the agricultural fields of the Velayat and the implementation of construction works planned in the Velayat according to the Program of socio-economic development of the country in 2022-2028.
Then, the working meeting held by means of digital video conferencing continued with the report of Nazarmyradov, khyakim of Dashoguz Velayat. As stated in the report, it was informed on the progress of the work being carried out in the agricultural fields of the velayat and the implementation of the construction works on the various purpose-built facilities and buildings that are planned to be built in the velayat in accordance with the program of socio-economic development of the country and the national rural program.
Then the Khyakim of Lebap Velayat Amangeldiyev reported on the progress of seasonal agricultural work in the velayat, as well as on the fulfillment of tasks arising from the Program of socio-economic development of the country and the National Rural Program.
Then the khyakim of Mary velayat, Annaberdiyev, reported on the progress of the agricultural work in the velayat, as well as the implementation of the activities planned in accordance with the program of socio-economic development of the country and the national rural program.
Then the President of Turkmenistan gave the floor to Cabinet Deputy Chairman Yazmyradov. The vice-premier reported on the state of agricultural work in the velayats of the country. At present, in order to produce a high yield of cotton in the country, the preparation of the cotton fields for the planting season is being carried out in the velayats, in particular, plowing and leveling works are being carried out. Also, the Vice-Premier informed that relevant works are being carried out to improve water supply in the country.
Listening to the report, the Turkmen leader emphasized the important role of the agricultural sector in our national economy and noted that it is an important requirement to carry out the agricultural work, in particular, the care work in white fields in accordance with the norms of agrotechnics. At the same time, the Esteemed President instructed the Vice-Premier to control the full preparation of the cotton fields for this year's crop, the planned vegetable and other crops for the season.
The Turkmen leader addressed the Cabinet Deputy Chairman in charge of the agro-industrial complex and the khyakims of the velayats, and gave relevant instructions to ensure that the ongoing seasonal agricultural work is carried out by strictly following the requirements of agrotechnics. Also, the President of Turkmenistan instructed the khyakims of the velayats to monitor the work on efficient and effective use of water resources and uninterrupted supply of agricultural fields with irrigation water, in particular, the work on increasing the water permeability of rivers and irrigation canals, strengthening their banks.
The Turkmen leader concluded the working meeting by means of digital video conferencing and wished the participants sound health, prosperity of the Homeland, and great success in their large-scale work aimed at ensuring the well-being of our beloved people.
