The electronic queue will be introduced at the border of Kazakhstan with Turkmenistan on February 22

By the end of February, an electronic queue will be introduced at checkpoints on the state borders of Kazakhstan by Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. Among them are the checkpoints "Temir-Baba" - from February 22 and "Tazhen" – from February 27. Both checkpoints are located in the Mangystau region. The first is on the border with Turkmenistan, the second is with Uzbekistan. This is reported by Kazinform with reference to the press service of the State Revenue Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Since November 23, 2022, an electronic queue service "CarGoRuqsat" has been introduced at several checkpoints of the Kazakh-Chinese border. The service was launched on the Qoldau digital platform.kz and is free for users.
The electronic queue system was created and maintained by Kazakhstani developers. About 7.5 thousand users have been registered in the system, who have performed 84 thousand queue booking operations.
According to the developers, the service is constantly evolving and improving. In the near future, it will be supplemented with identity verification via Face ID, and identity verification via a bank card will also work - for foreign citizens.
The task of the CarGoRuqsat electronic queue service is to allow carriers to book a queue in advance, and this queue was public. Firstly, it will speed up the process of passing trucks borders. Due to the fact that even at the booking stage, carriers undergo format-logical control. The system checks the applicant for tax debts, for toll roads, checks the registration of a tractor and trailer, and so on. The second task of the service is to minimize the risks of illegal manipulation of the queue at the border.
