A strong wind is expected in some areas of Mary, Lebap, Balkan and partially Ahal regions of Turkmenistan, gusts of which will reach 20 m/s at the peak, the Meteorological Journal reports.

In the south-east of Ahal, the wind speed will reach 12-17 m/s, in places a dust storm and haze may rise.

Simultaneously with the strengthening of the wind in some areas, a sharp increase in temperature is expected up to +24 degrees in the south of the Balkan region and in Ahal.

The cause of warming will be the passage of a cyclone trough and a strong warm wind.
