Turkmenistan may open a special language center for studying the Russian language


The possibility of opening a special language center for the study of the Russian language in Turkmenistan was discussed during a meeting between Consul General of Turkmenistan in Kazan Guichgeldi Garayev and Rector of Naberezhnye Chelny State Pedagogical University (NSPU) Alfinur Galiakberova. This is reported on the official website of the Consulate General.
Touching upon the issues of training highly qualified personnel, the parties considered the issue of establishing cooperation between specialized Turkmen universities and NSPU. Galiakberova expressed interest in cooperation with the Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute named after Seyitnazar Seydi and the National Institute of Education of Turkmenistan.
According to the rector, currently more than 350 Turkmen students study at Naberezhnye Chelny State Pedagogical University. About 1 thousand students from Turkmenistan graduated from the university.
"Turkmen youth are distinguished by their discipline, diligent approach to study, and active participation in the sports and cultural life of the university," the rector said.
The Consul General of Turkmenistan in Kazan, in turn, asked about the quality of education received by citizens of Turkmenistan, their adaptation to the learning environment.
