On the occasion of the Day of Diplomatic Staff of Turkmenistan, an international conference called "Dialogue - a guarantee of peace" was held in our capital
On February 18, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country hosted a scientific-practical conference “Dialogue is a guarantee of peace”, timed to coincide with the Day of Diplomatic Workers of Turkmenistan.
As is known, the international authority of Turkmenistan is constantly growing, the main vectors of its foreign policy are the dynamic development of friendly relations both with neighboring states and with countries located in other regions of the planet for the benefit of general interests and prosperity, as well as fruitful cooperation with major authoritative international and regional organizations, primarily with the United Nations.
As the speakers noted, special importance is attached to preventive diplomacy, the productive use of its tools such as peacekeeping, settlement of emerging disputes and conflicts by political and diplomatic methods, peacekeeping and confidence-building measures.
On the occasion of the professional holiday of domestic diplomats, in a solemn atmosphere, the employees of the diplomatic service were awarded the insignia "Türkmenistanyň ussat diplomaty" and relevant certificates for their personal contribution to the implementation of the peace-loving constructive foreign policy of Turkmenistan, strengthening relations with foreign states in various fields, expanding effective dialogue with authoritative international organizations and other services to the Fatherland.
In commemoration of the professional holiday, a ceremony was held to present diplomas of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to young employees of the diplomatic service and graduate students of the Institute of International Relations for active participation in the implementation of the foreign policy strategy of Turkmenistan.
A thematic exhibition was organized within the framework of the forum.
The festive concert was also organized with the participation of creative teams of higher educational institutions, timed to coincide with the Day of the country's diplomatic workers.
It was noted that every year the network of diplomatic missions and consular offices of our country abroad is expanding more and more. In this regard, based on the requirements of the time, a qualitatively new impetus has been given to the development of national diplomacy, where the priority role is given to the training of highly qualified personnel. This necessitates the opening of new specialties, the active introduction of advanced digital technologies and innovative methods into the educational process, and the exchange of experience with leading foreign specialized universities. All this found a peculiar reflection in the sounded musical and song performances.
