The link between SDGs and innovations is discussed at an international conference at Oguz han University


The international scientific and practical conference "Sustainable Development Goals: Youth Policy and Innovative Technologies" has opened at the Oguz han Engineering and Technology University of Turkmenistan.
In addition to teachers and students of higher educational institutions, as well as the scientific intelligentsia of the country, about 50 delegates from 23 countries of the world take part in the event. In particular, representatives of the scientific circles of Russia, China, Japan, the USA, Germany, Romania, Azerbaijan, Nigeria, etc.
The conference program includes discussion of such issues as the expansion of cooperation in the field of scientific research, the role of youth in the introduction of innovative technologies in all spheres of government activity.
The foreign guests were introduced via video link to the projects that are being implemented at the university, the developments of students in the field of cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, achievements in the creation of software, websites, etc.
After the plenary session, the international conference continued its work in three sections — "Nanotechnologies, chemical technologies and biotechnology", "Information and communication systems and Cyberphysical systems", "Innovative Economics and Humanities".
According to the conference program, foreign delegates will make presentations on renewable materials and energy sources, the role of youth policy in achieving the SDGs, innovative technologies in construction, etc. They will also talk about the possibilities of potassium sulfate production in Turkmenistan, wastewater treatment, prospects for the use of 5G, etc.
The conference will last until February 16.
