Thanking the President for the kind words, he noted that this visit of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation is considered as a continuation of the intergovernmental dialogue. The Turkmen leader expressed his cordial greetings and best wishes to the leaders of the Russian Federation and noted with satisfaction the effectiveness of the talks during the recent official visit of the head of the Government of the Russian Federation to our country. At that time, the main areas of further development of Turkmen-Russian cooperation were defined, a large set of documents was signed, and a joint business forum was successfully held.
During the meeting, opinions were exchanged on priority areas of intergovernmental cooperation based on the principles of strategic cooperation and successfully developed in all areas. Attention was paid to the practical implementation of agreements reached earlier and aimed at giving new impetus to the expansion of effective cooperation in various sectors. The trade and economic system is an important area of Turkmen-Russian cooperation. Cooperation in oil and gas, transport, industry and other sectors is being successfully developed.
In this regard, it was noted that it is necessary to fully realize the existing potential of cooperation, to diversify it, to reach new important areas to continuously increase the volume of mutual trade and investments, and to implement joint projects. The humanitarian system is also an integral and important part of intergovernmental relations. Traditional relations in the fields of education, science and culture, health care, as well as digital technologies occupy a special place in this system.
At the end of the meeting, the President of Turkmenistan and the Deputy Premier of the Government of the Russian Federation expressed their confidence that mutually advantageous bilateral cooperation, which is consistent with common interests and is established with a view to the long-term future, will be successfully developed further.
