At the meeting, a wide range of issues related to the future of further expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation in areas of mutual interest were discussed. The parties positively assessed the work carried out to implement the agreements reached earlier and confirmed the common interest of the two countries in the activation of effective cooperation based on the pluralistic traditions of true friendship and good neighborliness. During the meeting, it was noted the need to further strengthen the Turkmen-Russian strategic cooperation, and the issues of effective cooperation within the framework of international and regional organizations were discussed. The implementation of joint projects was also discussed.
Expressing the great interest of Russian business circles in expanding their participation in the promising Turkmen market, where more favorable conditions have been created for foreign businessmen, the visiting Russian businessmen are encouraged to further actively participate in the major projects of Turkmenistan's socio-economic development and to cooperate with Turkmen partners. He said he was ready to share good best practices and new technological developments. Also, during the meeting, it was emphasized that the bilateral trade has a positive trend, that Turkmenistan is actively cooperating with large regions of the Russian Federation, and that Russian companies have a wide range of opportunities to participate in projects implemented in various sectors of Turkmenistan's economy.
