A construction company from Iran, MAM Beton, intends to participate in the construction of highways and tunnels in Ashgabat City, representatives of the company told ORIENT at a specialized exhibition of Iran in Ashgabat.

The company is already participating in the tender, which should determine future construction contractors. Businessmen are confident that their offer will be the most profitable in terms of price and quality.

MAM Beton is the first company in Iran that has successfully laid underwater tunnels in the country, and is ready to apply the accumulated experience when working on the Ashgabat City project, said the company's CEO Abbas Mamashkhani.

In addition to road construction, MAM Beton is ready to offer its services in creating a metro that will connect Ashgabat City with other districts of the capital. The company, established in 2012, also has experience in this field.

Ashgabat City is a unique architectural project that includes high-rise residential buildings and convenient infrastructure. Currently, on the territory of the future "city within a city" in the north of the Turkmen capital, geological exploration researches are actively conducted.

It is expected that more than 107 thousand residents will live in 180 fashionable 12-35-storey buildings on the territory of a modern residential complex with a "smart" filling.
