Respected President Serdar Berdimuhamedov received Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Board of the Public Joint Stock Company Gazprom.

Expressing sincere gratitude for the time spent, the guest conveyed warm greetings and best wishes from the President of the Russian Federation to the head of state. At the same time, the interest of the largest energy company of the Russian Federation in mutually beneficial cooperation with Turkmenistan was confirmed.

Welcoming the head of the Public Joint Stock Company "Gazprom", the Respected President noted that his current visit to our country would help strengthen productive cooperation in the fuel and energy sector and, in general, serve to further expand the multifaceted Turkmen-Russian ties. Stressing that the development of strategic partnership with the Russian Federation is one of the priority vectors of the foreign policy of Turkmenistan, the head of state conveyed greetings and best wishes to the President of Russia.

In continuation of the meeting, the traditionally friendly, good-neighbourly nature of the Turkmen-Russian relations, which have deep historical roots, was noted. Trust-based contacts maintained at the highest level, as well as agreements reached during the talks at the top, serve as a solid basis for the dynamic development of cooperation in various areas. At the same time, it was noted that the Public Joint Stock Company "Gazprom" is a long-term partner of Turkmenistan. Over many years of joint work, an effective model of relationships based on trust and mutual consideration of interests has been formed.

It was emphasized that our country, having vast reserves of natural resources, is aimed at the progressive development of long-term cooperation with all interested foreign partners. The key vectors here are the modernization of oil and gas enterprises, increasing the efficiency of the mining and processing sectors, diversifying energy exports, and implementing joint projects.

Speaking of this, the head of state noted that there are good prospects for further deepening bilateral cooperation. In this context, approaches to the optimal implementation of the existing cooperation potential were discussed. At the end of the meeting, the Respected President and the Chairman of the Board of the Public Joint Stock Company "Gazprom" expressed confidence in the successful continuation of the productive Turkmen-Russian partnership in the energy sector, built on a mutually beneficial long-term basis and aimed at concrete results.
