Events dedicated to Russian pedagogy will be held in the CIS countries


Viktor Sadovnichy, Rector of Lomonosov Moscow State University, proposed to hold a number of events in the CIS countries dedicated to the traditions of Russian pedagogy, was supported by the President of the Russian Federation, who called the new educational idea interesting. On Thursday, Vladimir Putin held a meeting of the Council for Science and Education, which was attended by representatives of scientific and educational circles, according to a statement posted on the website of Moscow State University.
Speaking at the meeting, the Gardener recalled the famous traditions of Russian pedagogy. He drew attention to the fact that this year one of the founders of science, Konstantin Ushinsky, is celebrating 200 years since his birth and this anniversary date coincided with the fact that 2023 was declared the Year of the Russian Language as the Language of Interethnic Communication in the CIS countries.
In this regard, the Rector of Moscow State University proposed to organize an international congress dedicated to Ushinsky's works, as well as to hold competitions, scientific papers and conferences on the topic "Pedagogy - the science of education" in the Commonwealth states.
