The khyakims reported on the state of agricultural activities in the velayat, as well as on the implementation of the activities envisaged in the program of socio-economic development of the country and the national rural program.
Listening to the report, the Esteemed President emphasized the importance of carrying out the ongoing agricultural work by strictly following the rules of agrotechnics. In this regard, the Esteemed President has instructed to increase the pace of plowing and leveling the areas where cotton will be planted in the velayats for this year's cotton harvest, as well as to increase the speed of preparation of the areas to be planted in the spring potatoes and other vegetable crops, as well as to monitor the implementation of wheat maintenance works in accordance with the norms of agrotechnics. The head of state gave instructions to the khyakim regarding the high-quality implementation of construction works in cultural and industrial facilities and buildings planned to be built in the velayat in accordance with the 2022-2028 socio-economic development program and the national rural program.
Then Cabinet Deputy Chairman Yazmyradov reported on the implementation of the program activities for the integrated development of the agricultural sector of the country. The Vice-Premier also said that relevant work is being done to improve water supply in the country.
Summarizing the report, the Turkmen leader emphasized the important role of the agricultural sector in ensuring food abundance in the country and stressed the need to carry out agricultural work, in particular, maintenance of wheat fields, by strictly following the norms of agrotechnics. The Esteemed President instructed to control the full preparation of the cotton fields and the area planned for planting and other horticultural crops for the season, as well as the supply of farmers with seeds of high-yielding cotton and horticultural crops suitable for the soil and weather conditions of the country.
The Turkmen leader addressed Cabinet Deputy Chairman in charge of the agro-industrial complex and the khyakims of the velayats and gave relevant instructions to organize the seasonal agricultural work in accordance with the requirements of agrotechnics. The President of Turkmenistan instructed khyakims of velayats to monitor the proper functioning of heating systems of residential buildings, schools and kindergartens, uninterrupted supply of electricity, water and natural gas to settlements. The Turkmen leader concluded the working meeting held by means of digital videoconferencing and wished the participants sound health, prosperity of the Homeland, and great success in their large-scale work aimed at ensuring the well-being of the people.
