In what disciplines Turkmenistan to perform in the winter games "Children of Asia"
Turkmen athletes will represent the country in three disciplines - figure skating, short track and snow volleyball at the II Winter International Sports Games "Children of Asia", which will be held from February 23 to March 5 in the Kemerovo region (Russia).
In total, the competitive program includes ten winter sports. Turkmen figure skaters will perform with a short and free skating on February 27 and March 1.
The competitions will be held in the Sports Complex "Arena of Kuznetsk Metallurgists named after Oleg Korolenko" in the city of Novokuznetsk.
On the same day in the Ice Palace "Kuzbass" in the city of Kemerovo, representatives of the Turkmen short track will compete for medals in the distances of 500 and 1000 meters.
The title of the best volleyball team on the snow will be revealed in the Tashtagol region, in the ski resort "Sheregesh".
867 athletes from 12 countries and eight regions of Russia will take part in the II Winter International Sports Games "Children of Asia". During all competitive days, young participants will compete for 57 sets of awards.
