On February 14, the Turkish visa center in Turkmenistan will receive blankets to help victims of devastating earthquakes in the south-east of the republic. This was told by the Turkish Ambassador to Turkmenistan Togan Oral in his social networks.

"On this 14th of February, warm the heart of your loved ones with a blanket sent to help the victims of the earthquake," says the poster calling for participation in the action.

Only thick winter blankets, not used and wrapped in cellophane, will be accepted for shipment to Turkey.

The Visa Center of Turkey in Turkmenistan is located at: Ashgabat city, G.Kuliev Street, building 88. Reception of blankets will be held from 13:00 to 17:00.

Powerful earthquakes with a magnitude of more than seven points occurred on February 6 in southeastern Turkey. Currently, the number of victims of the disaster has reached 29 thousand 605 people. 147.9 thousand people were evacuated from the disaster zone. At the same time, more than 3.5 thousand people became victims of the earthquake on the territory of neighboring Syria.
