A 93-kilometer-long high-tech climate-controlled bicycle pedestrian road is planned to be built in Dubai, the online magazine "Around the World" writes.

The project is called The Loop. It is designed to improve the infrastructure for cycling and walking, so that they become the main ways of getting around the city.

In addition to infrastructure for jogging and cycling trips, the loop will be filled with green parks and gardens with various trees and plants, sports fields, as well as "urban farms" in which food will be grown.

The developers plan to make sure that by 2040 more than 80% of Dubai residents get to work either on foot or by bicycle. At the moment, the main means of transportation are cars.
