The art exhibition "Harmony" opened in Ashgabat
An exhibition of Turkmen artists Rahman and Dilbar Umarov entitled "Harmony" has opened at the exhibition center of the Directorate of Art Exhibitions of the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan, the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper reports.
The public was presented with famous paintings by artists depicting historical monuments, beautiful landscapes and still lifes, telling about the centuries-old culture of the Turkmen people.
Portraits occupy a special place at the exhibition — in them Rahman Umarov touches on the themes of motherhood and women's destiny. One of his main paintings is a portrait of his wife "Dilbar". The exposition is completed by the clay products of Dilbar Umarova.
The opening of the exhibition was attended by cultural figures, artists, teachers and students of the Art Academy, media representatives, as well as residents and guests of the capital.
