Kazakhstan launches Astana International Forum to Address key Global Challenges

In order to combine efforts to solve the most important global challenges, Kazakhstan is launching a new dialogue platform – the Astana International Forum.
The Forum will be held on June 8-9, 2023 in Astana under the auspices of the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. It will provide representatives of public and private structures, international organizations and academia with a platform for dialogue in order to find solutions to global problems such as climate change, energy security, etc.
"Today, all over the world, we are facing historical challenges, the likes of which we have not seen for several decades or more. The Astana International Forum was created to respond to these challenges, giving priority to cooperation as the main postulate of a functioning international system," Tokayev commented, adding that Kazakhstan hopes to build new bridges and strengthen ties through this conference.
The forum program includes main reports, panel sessions, discussion platforms and other related events.
Interested persons can register to participate in the forum on the official website of the event.
The Astana International Forum was preceded by the successful holding of the Astana Economic Forum. It was created to address issues in four key areas: foreign policy, security and sustainability, energy and climate, as well as economics and finance.
