Russia intends to increase the production of electric vehicles to 18 thousand cars per year, which is almost 9 times more than in 2022. This was told by the First Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Andrey Belousov following the results of the strategic session on electric transport, reports Lenta.ru.
In 2022, 439 fast chargers were built in 12 regions in Russia, and in 2024 they plan to produce 36 thousand cars a year, which is twice as much as planned in 2023.
Earlier, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said that within two years his own platform will be created for the production of a fully domestic electric Moskvich.
