Meta has restored Trump's accounts on Facebook and Instagram

On Thursday, Meta Corporation restored the account of former US President Donald Trump on Facebook after two years of blocking.
According to TASS, a few minutes later, Trump's page on the Instagram social network, which also belongs to Meta Corporation, was activated.
Plans to restore access to the accounts of the former American leader were announced by the head of the corporation for global Affairs Nick Clegg at the end of January.
Trump's Instagram and Facebook pages were blocked after his supporters stormed the Capitol in January 2021.
Earlier, Trump's account restored Twitter. However, the ex-president did not return to the social network and preferred to address supporters through his own social network Truth Social.
