Turkish airlines has carried out 177 flights to the earthquake-affected regions of Turkey, from where it took 82 thousand people, according to a summary for the media of the Turkish Embassy in Turkmenistan.

According to reports, 17 thousand 674 people became victims of the disaster, 72 thousand 879 were injured. The earthquake destroyed 6 thousand 444 buildings in the provinces of Gaziantep and Kahramanmarash, as well as Hatay, Adiyaman, Diyarbakir, Malatya, Osmaniye, Elazig, Kilis, Sanliurfa and Adana.

More than 1 million evacuation points have been created in the destruction zone, 9 main natural gas transmission lines have been repaired. 100 billion Turkish liras will be allocated for restoration work.

Every citizen affected by the earthquake will be paid 10,000 Turkish lira, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said yesterday.
