Kyrgyzstan to Host Junior and Youth World Sambo Championships

The capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, has been chosen as the venue for the junior and youth world championships, which will be held on October 13-15. The corresponding decision was made by the members of the Executive Committee of the International SAMBO Federation, the official website of the organization reports.

Juniors and youths will take part in sports sambo competitions. In addition, juniors will compete for medals in a combat sambo tournament.

In addition, in August Kyrgyzstan intends to host the Sambo World Cup.

At the last World Sambo Championship, which was also held in Kyrgyzstan in November last year, Turkmen sambo wrestlers won six medals of various denominations.
