Trading on SCRMET: lighting and aviation kerosene were in demand


On Thursday, February 9, 10 deals totaling $24 million and 12.6 million Turkmen manats were made at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan, ORIENT correspondent reports.
Businessmen from the Virgin Islands, Uzbekistan, and Afghanistan purchased a total of 15 thousand tons of KO-20 brand lighting kerosene. The cost of each ton of products was estimated at $642.75 per ton. The total sum of transactions amounted to $9.6 million.
Entrepreneurs from the UAE and Uzbekistan purchased about 17 thousand tons of aviation kerosene of the TC-1 brand, the cost of which was estimated at 833.75 per ton. The total sum of contracts signed amounted to 14.1 million.
The representative of the People's Republic of China purchased 500 tons of unpeeled dried licorice roots and rhizomes for $ 250 thousand. The price of each ton of products was estimated at $500.
A businessman from Pakistan purchased 420 tons of thick licorice root extract for 12.6 million TMT, offering $30.2 thousand TMT for each ton.
