The largest housing construction in the history of Turkey will cover 10 provinces in the disaster zone


The largest housing construction campaign in the history of Turkey will simultaneously cover 10 provinces of the country affected by two devastating earthquakes, the Anadolu agency reports with reference to the Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change of Turkey Murat Kurum.
"We will do everything necessary for each of the 10 provinces, just as we did in previous years. We are mobilizing all forces to eliminate the consequences of earthquakes, while simultaneously organizing the largest housing construction campaign in each of the 10 provinces," Kurum said, noting that construction work will begin simultaneously.
According to the minister, at the moment search and rescue operations are continuing at the site of 108 buildings with the involvement of almost 17 thousand rescuers and 3025 pieces of equipment.
