Official visit of the Head of the Halk Maslahaty to the UAE
On February 11, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, arrived at the Ashgabat International Airport for an official visit to the United Arab Emirates. At the airport, our Hero Arkadag had a conversation with the representative of the UAE Embassy in Turkmenistan.
Then our Hero Arkadag bid a warm farewell to those present and headed to Abu Dhabi, the capital of the UAE. A few hours later, the plane of our Hero Arkadag landed at the International Airport of Abu Dhabi, the capital of the UAE. At the airport, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov was warmly welcomed by the Minister of Justice of the UAE Abdullah bin Sultan bin Awad Al Nuaimi and other officials. At the airport, our Hero Arkadag spoke with the Minister of Justice of the UAE.
Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov spoke of his fond memories of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahaýýan, the founder of the UAE and its first President, and his great humanity.
Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov came to the UAE President's Palace. Here, our Hero Arkadag had a meeting with the President of the UAE, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahayyan.
The President of the UAE cordially greeted the honored guest and noted that the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan attaches great importance to this visit and the meetings within its borders in order to further strengthen and expand bilateral relations. As was mentioned, the UAE fully supports the effective foreign policy of Turkmenistan based on the principles of neutrality, as well as the peace-creating positive initiatives it promotes in the international space. The National Leader of the Turkmen people, the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, our Hero Arkadag, thanked the President of the UAE for the invitation to come to the UAE, for his cordial acceptance and hospitality, and conveyed his greetings and best wishes. Our Hero Arkadag expressed his condolences to the President of the UAE, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahayyan, on the death of his wife's mother.
Then the national leader of the Turkmen people, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, met with Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al-Nahayyan, Deputy Prime Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers of the United Arab Emirates, Minister of Presidential Affairs. During the meeting, our Hero Arkadag expressed his sincere gratitude for the hospitality, said that he was happy to meet and discuss the issues related to further strengthening of bilateral cooperation, and took the opportunity to convey the greetings and good wishes of the esteemed President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
At the end of the meeting, our esteemed Arkadag invited the Vice Premier of the Cabinet of Ministers of the United Arab Emirates, the Minister of Presidential Affairs Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al-Nahayyan to come to Turkmenistan with his family at any convenient time. The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, and the Vice Premier of the Cabinet of Ministers of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al-Nahayyan, Minister of Presidential Affairs, expressed their confidence that effective cooperation in the interest of the people of the two countries will be further strengthened.
