Trading on SCEMET: the total amount of transactions made exceeded $32 million
On Friday, February 3, 11 deals totaling $34.2 million and 5 million Turkmen manats were made at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan, ORIENT correspondent reports.
Businessmen from the UAE and Afghanistan purchased 35 thousand tons of hydrotreated diesel fuel, offering $932 for each ton. The total amount of the transaction was $32.6 million.
An entrepreneur from Serbia purchased 315 thousand tons of dry licorice root extract for $1.1 million. The cost of each ton of products was $3.5 thousand.
5 thousand tons of PS 500-G0-K Portland cement ($40 per ton) was purchased by a businessman from Kazakhstan, having signed a contract for a total of $ 200 thousand.
A representative of the business community of Kyrgyzstan purchased 55 thousand kg of dyed terry products of medium tones of different sizes for $ 302.5 thousand.
In the domestic market, a local entrepreneur purchased 200 tons of ordinary type II packaging film, offering 5 million TMT (25 thousand for each ton) for it.
