The regularity of flights in Turkmenistan will return to the pre-pandemic level


President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed the head of the Transport and Communications Agency Mametkhan Chakyev to continue work on bringing the regularity of flights to the level that was before the coronavirus pandemic.
This topic was touched upon during an expanded meeting of the government on Friday, at which the results of work for 2022 were reviewed, TDH reports.
The Turkmen leader ordered the opening of international flights to new destinations that will be economically more profitable. The need to expand cargo routes was also stressed.
In 2022, the agency "Turkmenhowayollary" increased the number of services provided by 96.8% compared to 2021, Chakyev reported during the meeting of the Cabinet of ministers.
