Antalya hotels will host about 80,000 earthquake victims in southeastern Turkey. Hotels closed for the winter will be opened to accommodate the victims of the earthquake. This statement was made by the head of the Turkish Foreign Ministry, Mevlut Cavusoglu, RIA Novosti reports.
According to the latest data, the death toll from the earthquake in Turkey has exceeded 14 thousand. More than 63 thousand people were injured. Almost 6.5 thousand buildings were destroyed.
A powerful earthquake with a magnitude of 7.7 occurred in the province of Kahramanmaras in southeastern Turkey. Tremors led to numerous destruction and casualties. Neighboring Syria also suffered from the impact of the elements.
