According to the latest data, the death toll from the earthquake in Turkey has exceeded 14 thousand. More than 63 thousand people were injured. Almost 6.5 thousand buildings were destroyed.

A powerful earthquake with a magnitude of 7.7 occurred in the province of Kahramanmaras in southeastern Turkey. Tremors led to numerous destruction and casualties. Neighboring Syria also suffered from the impact of the elements.
