The UAE has introduced a new service for extending visas of all types
The Federal Office for Identification, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security of the UAE has launched a new service that allows representatives of all countries to extend the validity of all types of issued visas for 60 days.
The service will be convenient for those people who have postponed their trip to the country for some reason and wish to extend the validity of the visa.
You can use the service only once before entering the country, the department said in a statement. You can extend the validity period of the document through the official website of the authorized body or via the UAE PASS application.
Candidates can also apply to special centers approved by the Federal Office for Identification, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security of the UAE to use this service.
The service fee is 200 dirhams.
After the request is approved, the applicant will receive an email notification. If missing or incomplete data is found in the application, the request will be rejected, and the financial fees will be refunded within 6 months after the application is submitted.
