The International Olympic Committee has launched a competition to design medals for the IV Winter Youth Olympic Games, which will be held from January 19 to February 1, 2024 in Gangwon-do, Republic of Korea.

This is another opportunity for creative minds, creative personalities from all over the world to demonstrate their talent and become part of Olympic history. The design of the awards of the competition, chosen by the jury, will be cast in gold, silver, bronze and awarded to young athletes who won prizes at the Games.

The competition jury will consist of young IOC reporters, representatives of the Gangwondo 2024 Games, and the young IOC leader.

Authors should send their works to official website of the contest until March 8, 2023. The results will be announced at the end of the month.

The author of the design of the front side of the medal, who took first place, will receive a ticket for two to the competitions themselves, the opportunity to participate in the opening ceremony and sports events of the Games. The organizers also prepared prizes for the works that took second and third places.
