The concept of the business program of the KazanForum 2023 summit has been defined
The Organizing Committee of the international economic forum "Russia – the Islamic World: KazanForum" headed by Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Marat Khusnullin approved the action plan and the concept of the business program of the summit. This is reported by Tatar-inform.
The document was signed in Moscow at the first meeting of the organizing committee for the preparation of the forum. The concept included 127 sessions in 15 areas.
As the secretary of the committee, the head of the Investment Development Agency Taliya Minullina noted, unlike the KazanSummit event held earlier, the forum will become even larger.
"This is both a higher level of guests, and an increase in the number of documents signed on the site. We also expect an increase in the number of participants," she said, stressing that the organization of each session is a great interdepartmental work with the federal center and colleagues from Islamic countries.
Speaking at the meeting of the organizing committee, Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Marat Khusnullin noted that being a unique platform, KazanForum will strengthen the foundation of the Russian-Islamic dialogue.
"The basis for qualitative growth has already been created: over the past three years, Russia's trade turnover with the states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation has increased by 26.6%," he said.
The International Economic Forum "Russia – the Islamic World: KazanForum" will be held on May 18-19, 2023. The theme of this year's meeting is "Economic Partnership in modern realities".
