Saudi Arabia has introduced a free transit visa

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia has launched the issuance of free transit visas (Stopover Visa) for those arriving in the Kingdom by air.
The new digital visa entitles its holder to stay in the Kingdom for 4 days and is valid for three months after issuance.
A transit visa allows passengers on the way to get acquainted with the sights of Saudi Arabia, visit holy places, and also make umrah.
"Stopover Visa is another proof of Saudi Arabia's commitment to the development of the tourism sector in the world, the openness of the country for travelers," said the Minister of Tourism of Saudi Arabia and Chairman of the Board of the Tourism Authority of the Kingdom Ahmed Al Khatib. He also added that this will further strengthen the position of Saudi Arabia as a link between the continents and a global tourist destination.
