Citizens of Turkmenistan, among others, faced the disaster in Turkey
In Turkey, which has survived a series of earthquakes, there are citizens of Turkmenistan who also faced a natural disaster. This was stated by Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov during a visit to the Turkish Embassy in Ashgabat, TDH reports.
The head of the supreme body of people's power stressed that the Turkmen state is a reliable support for each of its citizens, and if a problem arises, the relevant institutions will provide the necessary support.
Today, the official press published the telephone numbers of the hotline, which can be used by citizens of Turkmenistan who are faced with a natural disaster in Turkey, as well as their relatives.

According to the Anadolu agency, the number of victims of the earthquake in Turkey as of February 9 is 9 thousand 57 people. The number of wounded in the country is 52 thousand 979. The elements destroyed 6,444 buildings.
During a visit to the Turkish Embassy in Ashgabat, the head of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov conveyed words of sincere empathy and support to the relatives and friends of the victims, and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
Earlier on February 7, a plane with humanitarian aid from Turkmenistan, as well as doctors and medical staff on board, arrived in the city of Gaziantep in southern Turkey. Turkmenistan donated medicines, medical supplies and textiles to help the victims of the earthquake.
