"All you need is Beatles"– a concert with such a symbolic name will be held in Ashgabat on January 14 and will gather several generations of fans and fans of the legendary Liverpool quartet in the capital's Mukam Palace. This is the only band in the whole world that has been honored to have its own international holiday - The World Day of The Beatles is celebrated annually by the planet on January 16.

On the stage of the concert hall, Turkmen musicians will present the famous hits of the British rock band. The songs will be performed by different vocalists in the original versions and arrangements. The unique melodism and rhythmic clarity of The Beatles' songs are interesting to both pop and jazz singers.

Musical groups and performers often turn to the work of the "magnificent four", however, each program is unique. The Ashgabat concert will be no exception, where the songs of the Beatles will be sung by popular Turkmen vocalists Eldar Muzafarov, Asya Constanyan, Maria Unsal, and others. There will also be a debut appearance on the big stage of the young artist Myakhri Shammyeva, who will perform the song in a duet with her already quite famous brother Dovran Shammyev. And this will not be the only duet – many interesting and unexpected musical collaborations are waiting for the guests of the holiday.

One of the organizers, Vladimir Mkrtumov, Honored Artist of Turkmenistan, told Orient about the upcoming concert:

─ In this concert program, we tried to present almost all the musical facets of the Beatles and cover different periods of the band's creativity. Of course, the early rock and roll period of the four is very different from the compositions of such concept albums as "Abbey Road", "Let it Bi" and others. Nevertheless, there will be a kind of musical "panorama" of the Beatles' compositions, in which about 25 different songs of the group will sound.

I want to say that after our first concert dedicated to The Beatles, which we gave back in the pre-war period, one of the journalists wrote that we did not dare to perform songs from the Sgt album. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band ("Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Orchestra"). It's not about the risk, but the inability to fit all the creativity of The Beatles into a 2-hour concert format. Therefore, we have specially included several songs from this album in this program," Vladimir Sergeyevich said, smiling.

The singers will be accompanied by the accompanying composition – bass guitar - Igor Shevtsov, Stas Terekhin will play lead guitar, Vladimir Mkrtumov will play keyboards, and Aram Bazikyan will play drums.

It remains only to add that Beatlemania, which has turned into a subculture, does not subside even decades after the breakup of the group. And according to The Rolling Stones magazine, the Liverpool band The Beatles still ranks first in the list of the 100 greatest artists of all time, leaving behind Bob Dylan and even Elvis Presley. The Rolling Stones group occupies only the fourth position in this rating.

The concert will take place on January 14 in Ashgabat at the Mukams Palace at 19:00. Tickets can be ordered by phone: (+993 12) 223898 514157 +993 63467177 +993 64 037456.
