The Korea Post has become a guest of the Turkmen Embassy in Seoul


Turkmenistan and the Republic of Korea celebrate today, February 7, the 31st anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries. On the occasion of this date, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Korea Begench Durdyyev met with the editor-in-chief of The Korea Post international magazine Lee Kyung-seok in Seoul.
During the conversation, the Ambassador informed the head and founder of this influential publication about the current stage of development of cooperation between the two countries in the political, diplomatic, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres under the leadership of the heads of state. The diplomat noted that the agreements reached during the recent official visit of the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, leader of the nation Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to the Republic of Korea laid a solid foundation for further promotion of the dialogue.

Begench Durdyyev also told journalists representing this leading publication in the Republic of Korea in detail about the city of Arkadag – the new administrative center of the Ahal region, where new technologies and advanced world experience in the field of creating "green" and "smart" cities are being actively introduced, including environmental protection, earthquake-resistant construction, ensuring the safety and comfort of residents.
