The Turkmen-American Book Festival was held in the Balkan region


The Balkan Regional Library has become the venue for the Turkmen-American book festival, organized in honor of the 31st anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and the United States.
The event was attended by the Ambassador of the United States Matthew Stephen Klimow, who got acquainted with the activities of local educational and cultural institutions and the Business School at the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, the "Turkmenistan" newspaper reports.
Within the framework of the festival, performances were shown and meetings were held, as well as a book exhibition and a tour of the main library of the Balkan region were organized.
Holding book festivals in honor of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the countries has become a good tradition. Thus, the anniversary date — the 30th anniversary of diplomatic cooperation between Turkmenistan and the United States was celebrated in the building of the State Library in Ashgabat.
