Works from famous Broadway musicals will be performed in Ashgabat
US artists Kate Bass and Aaron Young will perform on the Ashgabat stage as part of a 10-day cultural program, according to a press release from the US Embassy in Turkmenistan.
They will perform works from famous Broadway musicals that attract viewers with their entertainment and bright, memorable music. Musicals have become a kind of symbol of Broadway, and their posters are an indispensable attribute of the streets of Manhattan.
The concert will take place on February 10 at the Mukams Palace of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan. It will start at 18:00. Admission is free.
During the visit, the artists will also share their experience with the musicians of the State Symphony Orchestra of Turkmenistan, hold master classes for students of the Maya Kuliyeva Turkmen National Conservatory and vocalists of the State Choir of the country.
