Trading on SCRMET: petroleum coke and cotton yarn were in demand
On Wednesday, February 1, 16 deals totaling $2.7 million and 95.3 million Turkmen manats were made at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan, ORIENT correspondent reports.
Entrepreneurs from Turkey purchased more than 1 million kg of various types of cotton yarn for $2.7 million during the auction. For manat funds, these products were also exported to the UAE and Turkey – a total of 571.5 kg of cotton yarn for 24.8 million TMT was sold.
In the domestic market, local entrepreneurs purchased 5 thousand tons of calcined petroleum coke for 70.5 million TMT.
