A strong earthquake of magnitude 7.8 in Turkey occurred on the morning of February 6.

On February 7, another earthquake of magnitude 5.6 occurred in the central part of the country. The tremors were recorded at 6:13 local time. The epicenter was located five kilometers from the Gelbashi district.
