I sincerely congratulate you on the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan and express my best wishes. Good-neighborly and cooperative relations between our countries serve as an important foundation for the well-being and development of our kindred peoples who have lived in peace and harmony for centuries and have common roots, as well as peace and stability in the region.
I would like to emphasize the enormous contribution of Your excellency to the comprehensive expansion of relations between our friendly countries and to the high level of strategic cooperation based on mutual respect and trust. The permanent open and reliable dialogue established between us, the creation of efficient mechanisms of our intergovernmental relations is a solid foundation for the further development of our mutually beneficial cooperation in all priority directions.
As a result of your far-sighted, well-thought-out domestic and foreign policy, Turkmenistan is achieving great success in all sectors, the prosperity of your people is increasing day by day, and the international reputation of your country remains high. Your participation in the summit of the Organization of Turkic States in Samarkand on November 11 of last year and your awarding of the "Turkish Order of the World" increased the importance of the forum and once again revealed to the world the high level of friendly relations between the Uzbek and Turkmen peoples.
In view of your noble and historic initiatives for the development of your country and people, your long-term strategies and programs, and the wide-scale reforms you have implemented, you have recently been legally recognized as the National Leader of the Turkmen people and the Chairman of the High Representative Body of People's Power of Neutral Turkmenistan - Halk Maslahat. I firmly believe that our long-term cooperation based on the ancient principles of brotherhood, eternal friendship and mutual support will continue.
